Guangdong Jiaduobao Beverage & Food Co., Ltd is a leading enterprise in the food industry from Chang’an. The operation headquarters is in Beijing. It changes traditional Wanglaoji herb tea into a herb tea beverage and is hailed as “the first can of Chinese beverage”.
This company was established by Hong Kong Jiaduobao Group in Chang’an. It's initial investment was 20 million U.S. dollars in 1995 and expanded in 1999 with an investment of 30 million yuan. It is a leading enterprise of Chang’an. At present, the factory area is 67,000 square meters with more than 2000 employees. At present, Jiduobao Company intends to cooperate with COFCO to establish a large zip-top can package and a manufacturing base that will cover 66.6 hectares in Chang’an New Area.
Firstly, the beverage has excellent quality. The red canned Wanglaoji is based on a traditional recipe over 180 years old. It selects raw materials and is processed through a scientific method; it is effective in preventing getting excessive internal heat of the body. Jiaduobao tightens the product quality. Quality management and inspection systems cover the whole process from purchase of raw materials, manufacturing and production to after-sale service. Productive technology is constantly improved and invested to ameliorate product quality. For example, the company has obtained patents for two utility models, namely Method to Handle the Residue of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Distributing Device for Feeding Traditional Chinese Medicine. It won the “Global Food Industry Award” at the Fifteenth Global Food Technology Conference in 2010. Thirdly, it is the wide spread production and sale. After more than 10 years of development in Chang’an, its economic strength has greatly improved. In order to expand in the national market, the company sets manufacturing bases in 7 places throughout the country such as Beijing, Shaoxing of Zhejiang, Shishi of Fujian, Kunlun Mountain of Qinhai, Hangzhou of Zhejiang, Wuhan of Hubei and Nansha of Guangzhou and has several raw materials production bases.
